This training will assist early learning professionals in helping families with children who have experienced trauma. Discussion and group activities are focused on identifying behaviors of children in trauma, understanding the effects of trauma, and helping families cope by validating children’s’ feelings and helping them express their feelings.

This program is approved by the State of Ohio and is aligned with Ohio’s Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) standards.
