Strategies that Increase Family Engagement

Participants will learn how family engagement in early learning programs will benefit the family, the child, the program, and the community. We will discuss and identify what the best ways to communicate with families are, how to show empathy for parents and respect for family cultures and differences.

This program is approved by the State of Ohio and is aligned with Ohio’s Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) standards.
