Dalcroze Education

We’re pleased to offer Dalcroze sessions this fall for younger ages 3-7. Cost is $200 for 9 classes.

Dalcroze Education is a joyful, embodied approach to teaching and learning music.

It develops a deep understanding of musical concepts while strengthening musical hearing, singing, literacy, creativity, expressivity, musical intuition
and more.

Classes are taught by Lauren Hodgson, M.A.Ed, Dalcroze License, an instructor at Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music who leads Dalcroze classes for children across the Cleveland area. She also leads professional development classes for teachers at the Dalcroze School of Music and Movement in Dallas, Texas, and conducts workshops on developing musicianship through creative and playful classroom environments.
