Hanna Perkins’ Parent/Toddler Group is more than a simple play group.
Toddlers don’t have much experience with the complex world around them, and their ability to ask about it is limited. You want to guide them.
But it’s hard to know what’s really going on inside your child’s young-and-developing mind.
Our Parent/Toddler Group will help
Led by trained child development specialists, it provides structured activities to help you and your child work together for successful socialization – while providing expertise to answer any questions you may have.
For your child:
- Have fun
- Learn to navigate social play
- Gain manageable exposure to sharing, waiting, following instructions and group dynamics that are part of school life
- Have a good first experience with school, teachers and learning
For you:
- Learn about ages and stages of development
- Gain insight about what’s really going on in your child’s mind
- Develop tools to help your child navigate new situations and play well with others
- Discuss toilet mastery, sleep routines, self-care, regulation skills, emerging language and other topics
