Hanna Perkins School Tuition and Fees

Hanna Perkins School is a United Way Agency and operates with a sliding fee schedule.  The maximum fee for children enrolled in the Preschool and Kindergarten is $11,500.00 per school year.  This includes the cost of the work with the child therapist.  The maximum fee for children enrolled in the Toddler Group is $4,800.00 for the school year, October through June.  This also includes the cost of the child therapist.  The minimum fee for the Preschool and Kindergarten is $30/month, per child, and for the Toddler Program is $20/month, per child.  Fees are determined according to the total annual income available to a family and the number of persons in the family.  Families with annual incomes of $10,000-$95,000 can expect to pay an annual fee ranging from $200–$9,975. Examples: A family of five with an annual income of $60,000 would be assessed an annual fee of $3,600.  A family of four with an annual income of $30,000 would be assessed an annual fee of $1,050.

The full tuition of each program represents our efforts to keep costs as reasonable as possible while maintaining our standards of educational and therapeutic services.  The maximum fee charged covers less than 75% of the cost of each child who attends Hanna Perkins School.

Parents determine their fee in a personal meeting with Ms. Streeter, and this fee is reviewed annually and adjusted if indicated.  When an adjusted fee is necessary the full tuition is derived from a combination of a) the parents' portion, b) medical insurance, c) scholarship funds.

For Information and Application

For information about the Hanna Perkins School Programs contact Ms. Barbara Streeter, Director of Admissions, at (216) 991-4472 ext. 107.  Ms. Streeter will answer your initial questions over the phone and can arrange an opportunity to meet Mrs. Joan Horwitz, the Educational Director, and observe in the classrooms.

Parents who have visited the program and wish to make application can arrange an interview with Ms. Streeter and a subsequent opportunity for Ms. Streeter to meet or observe their child. Ms. Streeter will share the information obtained with the Admissions Committee which meets every two weeks.  If the child is accepted for enrollment at Hanna Perkins, a visit to the classroom to meet the teacher is scheduled for the child prior to entrance into the program.
