Parent/Child Resource Center Classes Fall 2008 To register call (216) 929-0201. Refunds will be given if a class is cancelled by the Center. If you must cancel your registration you must do so 24 hours in advance. Once classes have begun, NO refunds will be granted. If a class is cancelled due to weather conditions you will receive a phone call. Class cancellations are at the discretion of each individual instructor.
ROLLER SKATING Children have fun learning how to safely roller skate. Beginning skills include learning how to get up from the floor, rolling forward and picking up one foot at a time. We will use music for simple rhythm and movement activities that coincide with skating skills. Ages 3-8 (parent stays). KIDS COOKING Young children enjoy cooking real food! In this class, with a parent's help, children will prepare simple, wholesome recipes. Have fun cooking with your child! Ages 3-8. WOOD WORKING FOR BOYS & GIRLS Children will have fun learning how to safely use tools for wood working projects. Project ideas include assembling pre-cut wood kits as well as constructing projects from scrap wood. Fun for boys and girls! Ages 4-8 (parent stays). MUSIC IN THE MORNING In an informal setting children and their parents experience the joy of music through group singing, finger-plays and experimentation with instruments and dance. Ages infants-3. ART Children will use different art media to explore and learn about colors, design and textures. Each week children will create a new page to compile their own portfolio. Ages 2-4 (parent stays).
