Development & Fundraising
As a non-profit organization, Hanna Perkins is constantly challenged to raise funds for programming in support of our mission. In fact, nearly half of our $1.6 million dollar operating budget is funded by gifts and grants from supportive individuals and foundations who value the work we do on behalf of children and their families. We feel the responsibility to seek these grants on behalf of our clientele, many of whom make use of our scholarship assistance program. Our dedicated staff of clinicians, teachers, administrators and support staff, work at Hanna Perkins for wages that are below those that they would receive if they worked in private practice, public schools, or the private sector. Indeed, when we tally up the difference it is more than a $1 million per year in kind contribution! Please consider supporting Hanna Perkins. Your contribution will enable us to serve more children and their families with effective programs that are based on almost 60 years of experience with early childhood mental health practice.
