Development & Fundraising
Like most non-profit organizations, Hanna Perkins is constantly challenged to raise funds in support of our mission and associated programming. In fact, nearly half of our $1.6 million dollar operating budget is funded by gifts and grants from supportive individuals and foundations who value the work we do on behalf of children and their families. We feel the responsibility to seek these grants on behalf of our clientele, many of whom make use of our scholarship assistance program. Last year alone we raised more than $400,000 in scholarship funds. Even as we ask for assistance from others we are proud to be able to say that our entire staff of clinicians, teachers, administrators and support staff, all work at Hanna Perkins for wages that fall far below what they would be able to receive if they worked in private practice, public schools, or the private sector. Indeed, when we tally up the difference it is more than a $1 million per year in kind contribution! Please consider supporting Hanna Perkins.
