Mrs. Horwitz resumed her teaching career at the pre-school level.  Ms. Lois Archer, then Educational Director of Hanna Perkins, recruited Mrs. Horwitz to a position in the HPS Kindergarten.  After two years she was asked to become the head teacher in the HP Pre-school.  After teaching at Hanna Perkins for ten years Mrs. Horwitz left to become Director of the Mandel JCC Pre-school.  Five years later she returned to Hanna Perkins to become its Educational Director.
