Deborah W. Paris, LISW, BCD

Deborah Paris has been an associate of the Hanna Perkins Center for Child Development since the mid 1980s and qualified as a child analyst in 1990.  She has been a member of the Faculty of the Hanna Perkins Course in Child Psychoanalysis since 1997.

Mrs. Paris maintains a private practice and is a consultant to Hathaway Brown School and the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland which is a consortium of preschools and day schools.  She served as editor of the first five volumes of the Hanna Perkins Journal, Child Analysis, Clinical, Theoretical, and Applied and was a participant in the HPC/TRW Early Intervention Alliance.  She has taught courses for the Ohio Clinical Social Workers, and has served as a consultant to the Shaker Heights schools and various preschools.

Mrs. Paris is a graduate of Yale University.  She received her Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from Case Western Reserve University.  She is a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, and a member of the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center, the Association for Child Psychoanalysis, and the Ohio Society of Clinical Social Workers.
