Alliance of Psychoanalytic Schools
Beginning more than twenty years ago, under the leadership of then director, Dr. Robert Furman, Hanna Perkins has annually hosted a Symposium/Forum, a meeting to which we invite professional colleagues from throughout the world to visit at Hanna Perkins to learn of our work with children and families in our school and clinic. As was Dr. Furman’s hope, other schools inspired by Hanna Perkins have been formed and now exist in North Carolina, Michigan, Texas, and Washington, D.C. Several years ago representatives from those schools formed an alliance so that there work and experiences could be shared and so that others might be similarly inspired.
